Introducing a new show at the Charlotte Art League!
Art100 events are designed to bring high-quality art to 100% of the population regardless of their income level. All attending artists will be asked to bring original works of art that are priced no more than $100 per piece. By participating, the artists are subsidized by proceeds from the event to help them cover their costs associated with making high-quality art such as supplies, transportation expenses, their time, and their efforts.
There will be a small door fee of $5 which includes one free raffle ticket.
There will be a juried call for CAL members and non-CAL artists. Artists will be juried by the Art100 event organizers.
Call for artist: January 5th Deadline for entries: January 12th by midnight
Artists Notification: January 15th
Raffle donations drop off: January 16th-31st
Artist set up: February 2nd 11AM-5PM
Event: February 2nd 6:30-9:30PM
NOTE: Artists have until February 3rd by 3 PM for art pick up
ARTISTS MUST REMAIN AT EVENT UNTIL END OF SHOW To be eligible for the artist subsidy payment, the artist must be present for the entirety of the event.
All art for the Art100 events must be priced at no more than $100. There is no entry fee.
THE FOLLOWING WILL NOT BE ALLOWED FOR SALE: Wet paint/inks and non-original artwork.
SALES – Attending artists retains 100% of their art sales (minus sales tax).
Liability: Charlotte Art League will take every precaution in providing a safe and conducive environment for all attending artists. However, Charlotte Art League and management accept no responsibility for any loss, theft or damage of artwork.
