May 4-25, 2012: “Mother Earth”

Many believe the month of May was named after the Roman goddess Maia, who was associated with the earth, with growth, and with motherhood.

For our May 2012 show, think art that is ecologically green, including use of recycled goods and earth-friendly products–as well as compositions related to the environment. Make a statement or transform trash into treasure; just show us your love for mother earth.
