Featured Artist: Ida Irby
For the month of February, Ida Irby has been selected as our Featured Artist! Ida is a multimedia artist, with a focus on watercolor. The architecture and natural elements in her community inspire her to paint; from the historic buildings in her downtown area to the lush gardens & forests that surround her.

Airy Knoll's "Exploring Nature Exploring Approaches" Exhibition
The Airy Knoll Arts Project is an intensive summer residential art program of artmaking and writing on a form in the Virginia Shenandoah Valley. As a nonprofit organization, student scholarships are supposed by donations.

Call To Artists!
The Charlotte Art League is currently accepting works for the following events and exhibits. In most instances, members can participate at a reduced entry fee and receive a higher commission rate on sold artwork.

New Workshops!
The human figure has been the subject of art since the beginning of time. Every other week, a live nude model is available for all to draw, paint, or sketch. Participants will be able to observe the model and explore different techniques of approaching the human form on paper or canvas. Please bring your own supplies.

Operating costs are no fun, so we need help to redirect our funds in creating diverse art, uplifting our artists, and reinvigorating the Charlotte arts community.
