I am a multimedia artist, with a focus on watercolor. The architecture and natural elements in my community inspire me to paint; from the historic buildings in my downtown area to the lush gardens & forests that surround me. I also enjoy painting children and the businesses and organizations that make up my community.

I use watercolor, ink, and drawing materials to create my artwork. I love the transparency and luminosity of watercolor, and I enjoy the challenge of capturing the subtle nuances of light and shadow. I also enjoy the versatility of watercolor, which allows me to create a variety of different effects.

My paintings are often inspired by my own personal experiences. For example, I recently painted a mural featuring children playing in a magnolia tree to capture the joy and innocence of childhood. I also enjoy painting scenes from my memories, as a way to document the places and people that I love.

Color is used to establish a mood, it also reveals an association with the natural environment. A combination of color, brush strokes, and patterns to share my interpretation of life. I believe that each day we experience nuance, but ironically everything repeats itself. There are patterns and repetitions all around us. I believe that art can be a powerful tool for communication and inspiration. I hope that my paintings will bring joy to others and help them to see the beauty in the world around them.
